Take office as Mayor of Boston

Boston, United States · 650,000 people · Heritage City

The Boston Harbor Resilience Council and the Capital Markets Group secure dedicated tidal infrastructure loans to support sea barrier gates, modernize electric cross city light rail links, and deploy automated air monitoring arrays.

The record Boston keeps on the Board of Mayors is still unwritten. Take office and write its opening chapter.

The city

Landmark: Freedom Trail & Faneuil Hall.

• The Boston Harbor Resilience Council deploys seawall integrated wave kinetic generators to capture and feed clean ocean energy directly back into municipal grids.
• The Capital Markets Group allocates federal transit grants to fund high capacity electric bus fleets and rapid charging bays across major neighborhood transit hubs.

How a term works

Take office and each day brings a live situation from the city's services: a decision to make and a result that is measured. A term is judged on approval, infrastructure, environment and innovation, within the city's budget, and every term adds to the record Boston keeps on the Board of Mayors. Mayors message and confer with one another, form councils, trade with neighbouring cities and send aid where it is needed. Cities rise together.
