Be the Mayor of Dinant

Dinant, Belgium · 13,000 people · Tourism Hub

Riverfront revitalization and promoting musical heritage.

Dinant is waiting for its first mayor on the Board of Mayors.

The city

Landmark: Citadel of Dinant.

• Dinant is dramatically situated along the Meuse River, dominated by its impressive citadel perched on a sheer rock face.
• It is the birthplace of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone, honored with a statue and a museum in the town.

How a term works

One hour a day. Each session brings a directive from the city's services, a decision to make, and a measured result. A term is scored on approval, infrastructure, environment and innovation, inside a real budget, and every mayor's work adds to Dinant's own record on the Board of Mayors. Cities lift each other: there is no losing city.
