The city

Landmark: Kröller-Müller Museum.

• Part of Food Valley, the agri-food region around Wageningen University.
• Gateway to the Veluwe: the Hoge Veluwe national park and the Kröller-Müller Museum lie at Otterlo inside the municipality.
• Every September the Ginkelse Heide commemorates the 1944 airborne landings with parachute drops and a wreath laying.

How a term works

Take office and every day brings a live situation from the city's services: a decision to make and a result that is measured. A term is scored on approval, infrastructure, environment and innovation, inside a real budget, and every mayor's work adds to Ede's own record on the Board of Mayors. You are not alone in office: message and chat with other mayors, form a council with friends, trade with nearby cities and send aid. Cities rise together: there is no losing city.
