Take office as Mayor of London

London, United Kingdom · 89 people · Megacity

The Greater London Authority (GLA) Infrastructure Office and the City of London Finance Agency deploy electric zero emission bus fleets, operate ultralow emission zone tracking systems, and manage Thames estuary flood barriers.

The record London keeps on the Board of Mayors is still unwritten. Take office and write its opening chapter.

The city

Landmark: Tower Bridge & Big Ben.

• The City of London Finance Agency allocates public investment budgets to fund transit engineering projects, including heavy cross city rail expansion and tube cooling systems.
• The London Environmental Quality Bureau oversees active air monitoring telemetry and dynamically adjusts high occupancy congestion pricing rates to limit urban carbon spikes.

How a term works

Take office and each day brings a live situation from the city's services: a decision to make and a result that is measured. A term is judged on approval, infrastructure, environment and innovation, within the city's budget, and every term adds to the record London keeps on the Board of Mayors. Mayors message and confer with one another, form councils, trade with neighbouring cities and send aid where it is needed. Cities rise together.
