Mosul, Iraq · 15 people · Heritage City
The Nineveh Governorate and Mosul Reconstruction Commission manage Iraq's second largest city on the Tigris, directly across from the ancient Assyrian capital of Nineveh — coordinating reconstruction of the historic Left Bank old city, rebuilding Al-Nouri Mosque and its iconic 12th-century leaning minaret Al-Hadba from original salvaged stone, managing archaeological preservation of the Nineveh UNESCO heritage site, and systematically restoring power, water, and road infrastructure.

Take the Oath of OfficeLandmark: Mosul Museum.
Take office and every day brings a live situation from the city's services: a decision to make and a result that is measured. A term is scored on approval, infrastructure, environment and innovation, inside a real budget, and every mayor's work adds to Mosul's own record on the Board of Mayors. You are not alone in office: message and chat with other mayors, form a council with friends, trade with nearby cities and send aid. Cities rise together: there is no losing city.
