The city

Landmark: The Forks.

• Winnipeg is the capital of Manitoba, situated at the confluence of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers.
• The Forks, at that river junction, has been a meeting and trading place for thousands of years.

How a term works

Take office and every day brings a live situation from the city's services: a decision to make and a result that is measured. A term is scored on approval, infrastructure, environment and innovation, inside a real budget, and every mayor's work adds to Winnipeg's own record on the Board of Mayors. You are not alone in office: message and chat with other mayors, form a council with friends, trade with nearby cities and send aid. Cities rise together: there is no losing city.
